Job Description

Praxair is looking for a highly motivated Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. We are searching for a qualified individual with a passion for expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate should be able to think critically, solve complex problems, and work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, be highly skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, and have the ability to work with various stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a related field. Additionally, the successful candidate must have experience with engineering design and troubleshooting, a working knowledge of various industrial codes and regulations, and a proven ability to work with teams to develop and implement reliable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and problem-solve complex issues related to rotating equipment.
  3. Perform engineering design and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
  4. Work with teams and stakeholders to develop and implement reliable solutions.
  5. Ensure adherence to industrial codes and regulations.
  6. Assist with the research and development of new technologies and equipment.
  7. Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment.
  9. Create and update documentation related to rotating equipment.
  10. Participate in safety training and adhere to safety standards.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Drawings
