Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join the team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing outstanding patient care and have a strong understanding of the clinical pharmacy specialty field. This individual must possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a dedication to learning and staying current on the latest medications and treatments.The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive and safe medication therapy management to patients, as well as providing support to the pharmacy team. This role will also be responsible for a variety of clinical functions, such as disease state management, medication management services, and drug information services.To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and at least three years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. Additionally, the candidate must have a valid Pharmacist license in the state of New Mexico, or be eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive and safe medication therapy management to patients.
  2. Provide support to the pharmacy team.
  3. Perform disease state management.
  4. Provide medication management services.
  5. Provide drug information services.
  6. Maintain current knowledge of medications and treatments.
  7. Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  8. Uphold professional standards and regulations as set forth by the state of New Mexico.
  9. Maintain a valid Pharmacist license in the state of New Mexico.
