
LPN - Family Medicine
We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our family medicine team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional patient care and support. As the LPN, you will need to have a valid license in New Mexico and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting. You will need to be committed to providing patient-centered care with a desire to meet the physical and emotional needs of our patients. Additionally, you must have the ability to work well with a team and have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will need to have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to be a self-starter and work independently. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide patient education.
- Maintain medical records and provide documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding the patient’s condition and treatment plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and other professional development activities.
- Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients.
Current Cpr Certification
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
Current New Mexico Lpn License
Two Years Of Lpn Experience Preferred
Knowledge Of Clinic Protocols And Procedures
Ability To Multi-Task And Prioritize Duties
Ability To Use Electronic Health Records
Ability To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision.
