Responsibilities of a Patient Scheduler:
- Schedule patient appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with patients and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information is recorded in the system.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide appropriate information.
- Address any scheduling conflicts and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient wait times for appointments and take appropriate action.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when interacting with patients.
- Meet performance standards and metrics set by the organization.
- Participate in training and other professional development activities.
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed.
