Medical Degree: A Pulmonary Physician At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is Typically A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree.
Board Certification: Candidates For A Pulmonary Physician Job At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Be Board Certified In Pulmonary Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).
Fellowship Training: In Addition To Board Certification, Candidates Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Pulmonary Medicine. This Is Typically A 2-3 Year Program After Completing A Residency In Internal Medicine.
State Medical License: A Valid State Medical License Is Required For All Physicians Practicing At Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Candidates Must Have A License To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Job Is Located.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Pulmonary Physician, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial.
