  1. Provide specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing the latest technology and treatment methods.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and examinations of patients to accurately diagnose and treat their respiratory conditions.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, current symptoms, and overall health.
  4. Monitor and assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and guidance on their condition and treatment options.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  7. Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and conferences to discuss patient cases and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pulmonary care.
  9. Adhere to all healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of patient care.
  10. Continuously strive for professional growth and development through attending conferences, workshops, and completing relevant certifications.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Pulmonary Physician At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is Typically A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree.

  • Board Certification: Candidates For A Pulmonary Physician Job At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Be Board Certified In Pulmonary Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).

  • Fellowship Training: In Addition To Board Certification, Candidates Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Pulmonary Medicine. This Is Typically A 2-3 Year Program After Completing A Residency In Internal Medicine.

  • State Medical License: A Valid State Medical License Is Required For All Physicians Practicing At Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Candidates Must Have A License To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Pulmonary Physician, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial. Candidates Must Have Excellent Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Team-Based Care Setting.
