
RN - Intensive Care Unit
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse (RN) on an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Team:
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient progress in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient information and care in medical records.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
- Communicate with patients and family members to keep them informed of the patient’s condition.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Educate patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License
A Minimum Of One Year Of Nursing Experience In An Intensive Care Unit Setting
Proficiency In Basic Computer Applications
Current Bcls Certification
Ability To Prioritize And Delegate Tasks Efficiently
