
Staff Attorney & Court Liaison

- Provide legal support and guidance to Presbyterian Healthcare Services in all aspects of its operations.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and the court system, representing the company's interests in legal proceedings.
- Stay up-to-date on all healthcare laws and regulations and advise the organization accordingly.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as needed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and court officials.
- Negotiate and resolve legal disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals and court personnel.
- Provide training and education to employees on legal issues and compliance.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct in all aspects of the job.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Admission To The State Bar Of New Mexico Or Ability To Obtain Admission Within A Short Period Of Time.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working As An Attorney, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Litigation Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Healthcare, Including Hipaa, Stark Law, And Anti-Kickback Statute.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Court Personnel, Healthcare Providers, And Other Stakeholders.
