
Sterile Processing Technician
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the receipt, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instrumentation used for patient care. Responsibilities:
- Receive, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute instrumentation for patient care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and processes.
- Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly labeled and stored.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control practices.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Remain up-to-date on new technologies and processes in sterile processing.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current on industry standards.
