Sterile Processing Technician

We are looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of prior experience in a Sterile Processing Technician role. Responsibilities of a Sterile Processing Technician:

1. Decontaminate, clean, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
2. Maintain accurate records of instruments and equipment received and processed.
3. Follow strict safety and health procedures while performing duties.
4. Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly labeled and stored.
5. Participate in quality assurance and infection control programs.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and procedures in the sterile processing field.
7. Communicate with medical staff to ensure correct instruments and equipment are available.
8. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of sterile processing department.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
