  1. Develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures to promote ethical and legal conduct in all areas of the business.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to address them.
  3. Train and educate employees at all levels on the importance of compliance and their role in upholding the company's values.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for any compliance-related inquiries or concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Continuously monitor and assess current compliance practices and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the company's compliance efforts are current and effective.
  8. Lead investigations into any reported compliance violations and take appropriate action to address and prevent future incidents.
  9. Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior by promoting awareness and understanding of the company's code of conduct.
  10. Represent Primark in external compliance-related events and initiatives to maintain a positive reputation and relationships with industry partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Applicable Laws And Regulations: A Head Of Conduct Compliance At Primark Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Conduct And Compliance In The Retail Industry. This Includes Employment Laws, Consumer Protection Laws, And Data Privacy Laws.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Compliance Programs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Creating And Implementing Compliance Programs In A Retail Setting. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Policies And Procedures, And Providing Training To Employees.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Head Of Conduct Compliance, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management And Regulatory Agencies. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Skills: Compliance With Laws And Regulations Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Analyze Complex Information. A Head Of Conduct Compliance Should Possess These Skills To Ensure The Company Is Meeting All Legal Requirements.
