Certified Nursing Assistant - Pediatrics

1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and answering any questions or concerns.
7. Administer medication and treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
8. Continuously assess and document patients' physical and emotional well-being.
9. Assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed.
10. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
11. Attend and participate in ongoing training and educational programs to maintain current knowledge and skills.
12. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
13. Act as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families.
14. Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients, families, and colleagues.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the nursing team or supervisor.
