
Certified Nursing Assistant - Pediatrics

- Provide compassionate and skilled care to pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and answering any questions or concerns.
- Administer medication and treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Continuously assess and document patients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in ongoing training and educational programs to maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Act as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families.
- Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients, families, and colleagues.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the nursing team or supervisor.
Completion Of A State-Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program.
Cpr Certification.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting.
Knowledge Of Age-Specific Care For Pediatric Patients.
Ability To Communicate Effectively With Children And Their Families.
