Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Clinical Pharmacist Specialist At Prisma Health Must Possess A Pharmd Degree, Which Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For Practicing Pharmacy In The United States.
Board Certification In A Specialized Area Of Pharmacy Practice: Prisma Health Values Highly Qualified And Specialized Pharmacists, And Thus, Requires Candidates For The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Role To Be Board-Certified In A Specific Area Such As Ambulatory Care, Critical Care, Or Oncology Pharmacy.
