- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pregnant women, new mothers, and gynecological patients.
- Collaborate with OBGYN physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients, including prenatal care, postpartum care, and gynecological exams.
- Perform routine and specialized procedures, such as pap smears, ultrasounds, and fetal monitoring.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care, and provide resources for ongoing education and support.
- Monitor and manage patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns and providing compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements and best practices in OBGYN care, attending relevant training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, providing safe and ethical care to all patients.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and quality improvement, participating in initiatives to enhance the patient experience and outcomes.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On Women's Health And Obstetrics.
Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner With A Speciality In Obgyn From A Nationally Recognized Organization (E.g. Aanp Or Ancc).
At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Women's Health Or Obgyn Setting.
Active And Unrestricted Licensure As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) In The State Of South Carolina.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Women's Health Issues, Including Pregnancy, Childbirth, And Gynecological Care, As Well As Experience With Diagnosing And Treating Common Obgyn Conditions.
