Job Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree In Physical Therapy: A Physical Therapist Advanced At Prisma Health Must Have A Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice Physical Therapy In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Board Certification: Prisma Health Prefers Candidates Who Are Board-Certified In A Specialty Area, Such As Orthopedics Or Neurology, Through The American Board Of Physical Therapy Specialties (Abpts).

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Physical Therapist, Preferably In An Acute Care Or Outpatient Setting.

  • Advanced Skills And Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Advanced Skills And Knowledge In A Variety Of Physical Therapy Techniques And Modalities, Such As Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, And Neuromuscular Re-Education. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And The Ability To Integrate New Research Findings Into Their Treatment Plans.
