• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients using telemetry equipment
• Recognize and report any changes in heart rate, rhythm, and blood pressure to appropriate medical personnel
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient's cardiac status and any interventions performed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly store and handle equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or issues
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in cardiac monitoring
