Having learned everything I needed to learn about what constitutes great writing, I knew that I had to continue my education at CSUN. As a master's student who will graduate in May of 2023, I am proud to know that I will come out with in-depth knowledge editing's key component-creativity.

California State University, Northridge's excellent English undergraduate program is what gave me the basis for my journey towards becoming a qualified editor. It includes a curriculum that encompasses a wide range of English-centered courses such as critical theory, rhetoric and composition, public speaking, creative writing, and linguistics.

Responsible for editing mathematical articles and books for Dr. Leonid Kurdachenko, Ph.D., properly translating scientific works to English, meeting strict deadlines for providing polished publications in English to international journals, and live-translating lectures from Russian to English for international students.

Editor

Responsible for copywriting and editing the organization’s social media and digital posts, overseeing all phases of production of posts, sourcing third-party content to expand internal publication diversity, and  modifying text of content produced by leadership to conform it to branding standards and publication guidelines.

In charge of editing the company’s flyers and promotional ads, as well as proofreading its advertising for general grammatical correctness.
