LAMAR HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Deliver packages in 10-hour shifts 
● Maintain accurate delivery records 
● Provide excellent customer service 
● Use GPS to maximize delivery routes and deliver packages on time 
● Troubleshoot vehicle maintenance as necessary to maintain timely delivery schedule

Driver

● Transports deliveries in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with company procedures and applicable state regulations. 
● Operates company vehicles in a professional, safe and courteous manner. 
● Obtains and maintains proper customer delivery authorizations and pickup documentation, including CODs and submits in a timely manner. 
● Secures CODs received from customers, reconciles receipts and submits up on return to the facility. 
● Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image. 
● Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
● Provides basic maintenance for vehicles such as maintaining vehicles in a neat and clean manner and performing pre-trip inspections. 
● Loads orders onto the truck by hand, pallet jack, fork lift, electric pallet jack, roll clamp and hand dolly with occasional assistance.

Update work log daily and track all deliveries. 
  ● Communicate consistently between warehouse and customers. 
  ● Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and traffic laws. 
  ● Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.

Make all deliveries within the time parameters set by management, making certain that all merchandise delivered is accurate and in good condition. 
● Loads orders onto the truck by hand, pallet jack, fork lift, electric pallet jack, roll clamp and hand dolly with occasional assistance. 
● Follow all motor vehicle rules and regulations. 
● Fill orders in accordance to all information and instructions as provided on the bill ticket 
● Inspection of delivery vehicles prior to and after delivery. 
● Promotes a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 
● Complete all paperwork that may be necessary. 
● Load and unload equipment or materials. 
● Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
