I am a NP that was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA (yes, very few are actually born and raised in LA). I graduated from UCLA with my BSN and from Vanderbilt University with my MSN, with a dual specialty in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Women's Health. As an RN, I completed a new graduate residency and worked in med-surg, I worked in women's health, and I worked in aesthetics. As a nurse practitioner, I completed a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where I completed rotations in various specialties. Now, I am providing primary care and women's health at an out-patient clinic, hence it is an incredibly informative experience with a diverse patient population. Areas of interest and passion include dermatology, aesthetics, diabetes, women's health, and providing care for underserved, yet deserving populations such as veterans and the LGBT community.
