As a Claims Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential administrative support to our claims team.   1. Provide administrative support to the claims department by performing tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.
  2. Act as the main point of contact for incoming calls and emails, providing timely and accurate responses or routing to the appropriate team member.
  3. Assist in the processing and tracking of claims by gathering necessary information, reviewing documents, and updating claim files.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claim information, including correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims and timely resolution for customers.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in all administrative tasks.
  7. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to claims processing and administrative tasks.
  8. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to help others.
  9. Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the claims department.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion in accordance with company policies.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant claims processing.
  12. Uphold the company's customer service standards by providing excellent service to customers and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the claims department and the company.
