Job Description

Progressive is currently seeking a Claims Administrative Support Specialist to join our team and assist with the processing and management of insurance claims. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our claims team and ensuring that our customers receive efficient and effective service. To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

  1. Provide administrative support to the claims team in processing and managing insurance claims.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims by organizing and maintaining claim files, documents, and records.
  3. Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with the claims team to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in claim processing.
  6. Assist in the preparation of claim settlement documents and other required paperwork.
  7. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
  8. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  9. Proactively identify process improvements and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in all aspects of claim processing and administration.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claim handling and customer service.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the claims manager.

  • Proficiency In Data Entry And Organization: The Claims Administrative Support Specialist Should Have Excellent Data Entry And Organization Skills To Accurately Input And Maintain Large Amounts Of Claims Information.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance Claims Processes: Familiarity With Insurance Claims Processes, Including Understanding Of Coverage, Liability, And Settlement Procedures, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: The Claims Administrative Support Specialist Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Completeness In All Aspects Of Their Work.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Necessary For This Role To Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
