Job Description

Assist in data onboarding. Review/install/configure Splunk add-ons and data sources feeding into Spunk. Interface with technical personnel and other teams in the ISO as well as the larger organization as required. Curate onboarded data and ensure data is CIM compliant. Troubleshoot platform/data availability and quality issues. Drive remediation efforts during logging outages/issues Configure and develop security content within Splunk Enterprise Security to support/create CSOC use casesBuild alerts, dashboards, reports, and associated documentation. Partner with senior analysts to assist in use case development for AWS, Azure and other Cloud services. Document changes and conform to existing processes related to cloud content/data sources. Participate in knowledge sharing with analysts and develop solutions efficiently, a clean transition from developed use case to the Threat Analysts operationally leveraging the use case is key.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years working in Cyber Security Operations

  • 2+ years working as a high tier analyst or in CSOC Infrastructure.

  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and tools, demonstrated exposure/expertise a plus.

  • Exposure to/knowledge of other SIEM/SOAR tooling a plus.

  • Hands on experience with O365 and Microsoft security tools
