Job Description

PruittHealth is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team and provide outstanding leadership and direction. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in the long-term care industry and is passionate about providing quality care to our residents.The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage a staff of multiple disciplines. They should have an in-depth understanding of the regulations and laws related to long-term care and be knowledgeable in current trends and best practices. They should also be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to resident satisfaction and the mission of PruittHealth.Required qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, gerontology, or a related field, as well as a valid Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the state of Georgia. Additionally, at least three years of progressive experience in long-term care, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role, is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure quality care and resident satisfaction
  2. Oversee and manage multiple departments and staff
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws related to long-term care
  4. Monitor trends and best practices in the long-term care industry
  5. Ensure appropriateness of staffing and scheduling to meet residents' needs
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  7. Provide guidance, support, and training to staff
  8. Maintain financial and operational records
  9. Develop and manage budgets
  10. Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders
