
Phlebotomist
PruittHealth is searching for a Phlebotomist who is highly motivated and eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients and team members. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of proper phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols. Additionally, you must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in order to achieve the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:
-Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis using the proper phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols -Ensure accuracy and safety when collecting and preparing specimens -Assess patient condition and take necessary precautions when collecting specimens -Maintain patient records and provide follow-up care according to established policies and procedures -Provide patient education on proper blood collection and testing techniques -Maintain a safe and clean work environment to ensure the safety of staff and patients -Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to the practice of phlebotomy -Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational quality assurance requirements -Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory supervisor or physician
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills

Previous Experience As A Phlebotomist Or In A Related Medical Field
Current Certification As A Phlebotomist Technician
