Job Description

The IT systems specialist is responsible for managing Bindley's instrument computers and data generated by the core facility instruments, as well as supporting the information technology and data analysis needs of Bindley scientists. Manage and develop Bindley Bioscience Center's cyberinfrastructure. Configure applications and hardware for lab activity. Develop and maintain programs, utilities, procedures, and documentation of applications for systems integration and operation. Assist in maintaining the Bindley web presence, and with data analysis. Maintain and upgrade applicable job skills as identified and required.

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience in systems administration

  • Experience in networking, subnetting, VLANs preferred
