We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced individual who is an effective leader and team player.The ideal Risk Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or any other related field. A minimum of five years of experience in a banking environment with a focus on risk management is a must. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of banking regulations, risk management processes and procedures. An understanding of credit, operational and market risk is essential. The Risk Manager should have excellent communication skills and be able to think strategically and analytically. A commitment to excellence and customer service is also important.

Responsibilities of a Risk Manager at Qatar National Bank:

1. Develop and maintain an effective risk management framework in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
2. Monitor and review risk management processes and procedures to ensure they are up to date and meet all regulatory requirements.
3. Generate and analyze risk-related reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Develop strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
5. Train and educate staff on risk management processes and procedures.
6. Monitor and report on credit, operational and market risk.
7. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
8. Monitor compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
9. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate risk reporting and management.
10. Provide advice and guidance to senior management on risk management activities.
