Risk Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Risk Manager to join our team and help ensure our continued success.The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a deep understanding of risk management and knowledge of the banking sector. They will be required to develop, implement and maintain a risk management strategy to ensure that all of our business activities are in line with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field, with a minimum of five years’ experience in risk management. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and maintain an effective risk management strategy that is in line with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
2. Monitor and assess risk exposures associated with the bank’s activities.
3. Identify areas of potential risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
4. Develop and maintain a risk management system to ensure that business activities comply with all regulatory requirements.
5. Provide guidance and advice to other departments on risk management.
6. Prepare risk reports and other documents for management and board review.
7. Maintain knowledge of current and future industry trends and best practices in risk management.
8. Ensure that all risk management activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Analyze financial statements and other data to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
10. Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
