
Hospitalist Physician
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Queen’s Health Systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to provide care to patients admitted to the hospital. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for managing the care of hospitalized patients, coordinating with other specialists, ordering tests and providing follow-up care. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Medicine, be board certified in Internal Medicine, and have a valid license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in a hospital or medical center setting. A commitment to providing quality patient care and a compassionate attitude is essential for this role. Responsibilities:
- Manage the care of hospitalized patients, including ordering tests and providing follow-up care.
- Coordinate with other specialists to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.
- Provide compassionate and quality care to all hospitalized patients.
- Work with hospital staff to develop and implement plans of care for hospitalized patients.
- Communicate with patients and families to explain diagnoses, treatments, medications, and other medical information.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments or medications as needed.
- Maintain patient records and document all patient interactions.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to patient privacy.
- Participate in hospital committees and initiatives as necessary.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by attending relevant conferences and seminars.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Medical Doctor (Md) Degree
Board Certification In Internal Medicine
Current Medical License In The State Of Hawaii
Minimum Of Years Of Experience As A Hospitalist Physician
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Clinical Care
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records Systems
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Providers.
