- Lead and manage the floral department, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Create and maintain visually appealing and fresh floral displays throughout the store.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of floral products.
- Train and develop team members on proper floral care, design techniques, and customer service.
- Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and fulfilling special requests.
- Design and create floral arrangements for special occasions, holidays, and events.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of all floral products.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and execute promotional strategies to increase floral sales.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and products into the floral department.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in the floral department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Act as a positive role model for team members, promoting a cooperative and positive work environment.
- Follow and enforce proper cash handling procedures.
- Monitor and manage department budgets and expenses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
