1. Lead and manage the floral department, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Create and maintain visually appealing and fresh floral displays throughout the store.
3. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of floral products.
4. Train and develop team members on proper floral care, design techniques, and customer service.
5. Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and fulfilling special requests.
6. Design and create floral arrangements for special occasions, holidays, and events.
7. Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of all floral products.
8. Collaborate with store management to develop and execute promotional strategies to increase floral sales.
9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and products into the floral department.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in the floral department.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
12. Handle customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
15. Act as a positive role model for team members, promoting a cooperative and positive work environment.
16. Follow and enforce proper cash handling procedures.
17. Monitor and manage department budgets and expenses.
