Front End Manager

Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve the Front-end performance goals and best practices as well as sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Promote trust and respect among associates. Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates. Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals. Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products. Monitor and control supply expenses for the department and make decisions in the store's best financial interests under pressure in a fast paced environment. Manage cash control, sales and cash items and records for the store. Effectively schedule all Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage as well as maintain overall store schedule integrity. Maintain intermediate knowledge of store financials including the store operating statement as well as the concepts of gross profit, cost and retail and basic math.
