General Merchandise Clerk

Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner • Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information • Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively • Ensure shelves are adequately stocked with the correct merchandise • Assist in organizing and setting up the store for special events • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy • Maintain a clean and orderly work area • Assist in training new employees on store procedures • Ensure store policies are followed by all staff • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions • Report any discrepancies or issues to the store manager
