• Maintain a clean and organized meat display, ensuring all products are properly stocked and labeled
• Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable and friendly service
• Ensure all meat products are fresh and of the highest quality, adhering to company standards and regulations
• Receive and unload meat deliveries, accurately checking for any discrepancies
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures when handling and preparing meat products
• Collaborate with other team members to meet department goals and maintain a positive work environment
• Stay up-to-date on current meat products, prices, and promotions in order to provide accurate information to customers
• Operate meat department equipment, such as slicers and grinders, in a safe and efficient manner
• Keep track of inventory levels and communicate any low stock items to management
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines
• Assist in the training and development of new Meat Clerks as needed.
