Government Accountant

The Government Accountant II position will assist the assigned division to budget, analyze, and monitor costs to achieve operational and financial objectives. Prepare supporting documentation for government contracts including but not limiting to contract funding and cost types per contract. Review project cost to separate allowable vs unallowable cost. Invoicing governmental contracts in accordance with contract terms. Work with project accountants and program managers on application of incurred costs. Assist project team with incurred cost submission. Participate in month-end close activities. Perform account reconciliations. Maintaining Corporate Policies and Procedure around the compliance of accounting for government costing. Assist with compliance of any government related audits.
