  1. Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and intrusions.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to prevent cyber attacks and protect company data.
  3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in the network.
  4. Investigate security incidents and respond promptly to contain and mitigate any potential damage.
  5. Monitor and maintain security systems and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement security best practices across the organization.
  8. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for various cyber security scenarios.
  9. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of cyber security within the organization.
  10. Conduct regular risk assessments and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  11. Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
  12. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners regarding cyber security issues and initiatives.
  13. Proactively identify and report any potential vulnerabilities or security risks.
  14. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for cyber security incidents.
  15. Comply with all relevant regulations and standards related to cyber security.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles: A Qualified Cyber Network Defense Analyst At Raytheon Technologies Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices, Including Network Security, Threat Intelligence, And Incident Response.

  • Technical Expertise: The Job Requires A Deep Technical Understanding Of Network Protocols, Operating Systems, And Security Tools. Candidates Should Possess Proficiency In Network Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, And Penetration Testing.

  • Experience In Cyber Threat Detection And Mitigation: Raytheon Technologies Is Looking For Candidates With Experience In Detecting And Mitigating Cyber Threats. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Analyze Network Traffic, Conduct Threat Assessments, And Develop Threat Detection Tools And Strategies.

  • Teamwork And Collaboration: As Part Of A Larger Cybersecurity Team, A Cyber Network Defense Analyst At Raytheon Technologies Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Team Members And Across Departments To Identify And Remediate Cyber Threats. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment Are Essential.

  • Certifications: Candidates With Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Certified Information Security Manager (Cism), Or Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh) Will Be Given Preference. These Certifications Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Cybersecurity.
