  1. Conduct thorough and ongoing vulnerability research on company systems and products.
  2. Identify and analyze potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in vulnerability research and cyber security.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  5. Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including management and technical teams.
  6. Develop and maintain vulnerability assessment tools and processes.
  7. Conduct penetration testing and other security assessments to identify potential weaknesses.
  8. Proactively monitor and respond to emerging security threats.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  10. Participate in industry conferences, forums, and other events to stay current with security trends and best practices.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research findings and vulnerability assessments.
  12. Work closely with product development teams to ensure security is integrated into the product lifecycle.
  13. Collaborate with external security researchers and vendors to exchange information and stay informed about emerging threats.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's vulnerability management program.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards related to cyber security.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Vulnerability Discovery And Exploitation: A Senior Vulnerability Researcher At Raytheon Technologies Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Techniques And Tools Used For Identifying And Exploiting Vulnerabilities In Software And Systems.

  • Strong Programming And Scripting Skills: Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, Python, And Assembly Is Essential For A Senior Vulnerability Researcher To Be Able To Develop Custom Tools And Code For Vulnerability Analysis And Exploitation.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Operating Systems And Network Protocols: A Solid Understanding Of Operating Systems Such As Windows, Linux, And Macos, As Well As Network Protocols Like Tcp/Ip And Http, Is Critical For A Senior Vulnerability Researcher To Be Able To Identify And Exploit Vulnerabilities In Complex Systems.

  • Expertise In Reverse Engineering: A Senior Vulnerability Researcher Should Have Extensive Experience In Reverse Engineering Software And Firmware To Identify Potential Vulnerabilities And Understand Their Root Cause.
