- Monitor and secure the premises of Raytheon Technologies facilities, including buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas.
- Conduct routine patrols to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and company assets.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify potential threats and respond accordingly.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws.
- Respond to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, and security breaches.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all security activities, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and external agencies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other security team members to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve security measures to ensure the highest level of protection for the company and its assets.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on security trends, techniques, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Train and mentor new security team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all aspects of the job.
Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Role. Candidates With A Degree In Criminal Justice, Security Management, Or A Related Field Are Preferred. Additionally, Completion Of A Certified Security Training Program Is Highly Desirable.
Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Security, Law Enforcement, Or Military. Previous Experience As A Site Protection Officer Or In A Similar Role Is Highly Desirable. Knowledge Of Security Systems And Protocols Is Also Important.
Physical Fitness: This Role Requires A High Level Of Physical Fitness And Ability To Respond Quickly To Security Threats. Candidates Must Be Able To Pass A Physical Fitness Test And Maintain A Certain Level Of Physical Fitness Throughout Their Employment.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Site Protection Officer. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Site Visitors, And Emergency Personnel In A Calm And Professional Manner.
Security Clearance: Candidates Must Be Able To Obtain And Maintain A Government Security Clearance At The Required Level For The Role. This Includes Passing A Background Check And Drug Test. Previous Experience With Classified Information Is Highly Desirable.
