Job Description

You will be working alongside our in-house engineering team as part of our award-winning Digital Products team where you will focus on Android mobile and TV app development. You will hit the ground running as we focus on launching our new flagship running app in 2022. Follow UX and product guidance for requirements and build the best possible experience. Work with related engineering teams, SDKs, and 3rd party partners to deliver end-to-end projects. Give options and accurate estimates to inform the best possible product decisions. Share what you’ve done with others to create awareness and improve maintainability. Pay down technical debt without overengineering. Resolve production issues with speed. Catch issues before they go live. Continuously learn and stay aware of the latest trends and best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience building native Android applications using Java or Kotlin

  • Experience building for Android TV and Amazon Fire TV a plus

  • Understanding of MVVM / MVI architectures

  • Experience working with AR/VR/Immersive Experiences (AR Core, Unity, AR Foundation) a plus

  • Experience with location tracking, managing offline experiences, and minimizing battery drain a plus
