Job Description

Create the vision for Red Hat’s tools and technology and inspire professional software and system engineers to enable them to solve the industry's challenges today and tomorrow. Speak and share expertise at user groups and conferences in various locations throughout the U.S. and worldwide. Create technical content for publication on a blog and other channels to show software and system engineers how to implement specific solutions or use new technologies. Educate and empower software and system engineers by creating and delivering practical technical workshops worldwide. Connect and network with other engineers to identify how Red Hat might help them be more successful. Gather and socialize product feedback that will inform engineering, sales, and marketing decision making. Support engineers wherever they are, on forums, social media, meetups and everywhere in between.

Job Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with making contributions to open source software

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • 10+ years of experience in the job offered or in a related software development role

  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) and DevSecOps is a plus
