
Total Quality & Food Safety Manager
At Red Lobster, we are always striving to provide the highest quality products and services to our guests. We are currently looking for a Total Quality & Food Safety Manager who will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and maintenance of our food safety and quality assurance programs. This role requires strong leadership skills, an understanding of the food safety and quality assurance processes, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field, as well as at least five years of experience in food safety and quality assurance in a restaurant or food service environment. They should have a thorough knowledge of food safety and quality assurance requirements and regulations, and experience with HACCP plans and third-party audits. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Manage and oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and quality assurance regulations.
- Monitor and review third-party audits and HACCP plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of quality and food safety across the organization.
- Analyze and report on food safety and quality assurance performance.
- Lead periodic training sessions related to food safety and quality assurance.
- Investigate customer complaints related to food safety and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and food safety.
