- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT needs and requirements.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues with vendors and develop contingency plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in vendor management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their IT needs and align vendor partnerships accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of vendor interactions, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and products.
- Manage vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors on areas of improvement.
- Handle escalations and resolve conflicts with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Train and mentor team members on vendor management processes and procedures.
- Monitor and report on vendor expenses, ensuring budget compliance.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize vendor management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Vendor Management, Preferably In The Transportation Industry.
Strong Understanding Of It Systems And Infrastructure, Including Hardware, Software, And Networking.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors.
Experience Managing Contracts, Budgets, And Performance Metrics To Ensure Vendor Compliance And Cost-Effectiveness.
