- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's security policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices for IAM and Active Directory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions that align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Configure and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user and group management, access controls, and security settings.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and reports to identify and address potential security risks or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of IAM processes and systems to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in IAM and Active Directory technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation within the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams and departments on IAM and Active Directory related matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IAM and Active Directory, and escalate complex problems to appropriate parties.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing to ensure the security and availability of IAM systems and data in the event of an emergency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve IAM processes and controls to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities in IAM and Active Directory systems and processes.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status of IAM projects and initiatives.
- Conduct training and workshops to educate employees on IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations with vendors and external partners regarding IAM solutions and services.
Extensive Knowledge Of Active Directory: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Active Directory Structure, Components, And Functionalities, Including Group Policy, Dns, And Ldap Integration.
Experience With Iam Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Various Iam Tools, Such As Microsoft Identity Manager (Mim), Azure Active Directory, And Active Directory Federation Services (Adfs).
Strong Security Background: A Solid Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices Is Crucial For An Iam Active Directory Engineer. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Implementing Security Controls And Protocols To Ensure The Integrity Of The Active Directory Environment.
Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading Iam Projects, Including Design, Implementation, And Maintenance. Strong Project Management Skills, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Resource Management, Are Essential For This Role.
