Job Description

We at Regions Financial Co. are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern - Human Resources to join our Human Resources team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the day-to-day operations of our company while gaining invaluable experience and knowledge.The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is eager to learn and has a passion for Human Resources. They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of Human Resources principles and practices.The primary responsibilities of the Intern - Human Resources include, but are not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. The Intern - Human Resources will assist with the development of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives, and will have the opportunity to contribute to special projects.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field• Understanding of Human Resources principles and practices• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactiveIf you feel that you possess the necessary qualifications and have the ambition to make a positive contribution to our Human Resources team, we invite you to apply for this role.

Responsibilities of Intern - Human Resources: • Recruiting prospective employees for job openings • Onboarding new employees into the organization • Assisting with employee relations and benefits administration • Developing HR policies and procedures • Contributing to special projects related to Human Resources • Maintaining employee records and handling confidential information with discretion • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to create reports and track data • Providing administrative support to the Human Resources team • Demonstrating excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
