
Anesthesia Technician
Renown Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Anesthesia Technician to join our growing team of medical professionals! The ideal candidate will be an energetic and reliable individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service to our patients. This position requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related field, and at least one year of experience working as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital setting. The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a dedicated team player who will be able to work collaboratively with our physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and arrange the operating room for anesthesia procedures • Maintain and check anesthesia equipment and supplies for proper functioning • Set up and manage patient monitoring equipment during procedures • Administer anesthesia drugs, as directed by the anesthesiologist • Assist the anesthesiologist in performing specialized anesthesia techniques • Monitor patient’s vital signs during procedures • Record patient information such as vital signs, medications, and reactions to anesthesia • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the anesthesiologist • Monitor patient’s response to anesthesia and alert the anesthesiologist to any changes • Maintain a safe and secure environment for the patient during the procedure • Clean and sterilize anesthesia equipment and supplies • Keep accurate records of all anesthesia procedures • Provide support and assistance to other healthcare providers during procedures • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards set by the facility
