
Behavioral Health Clinical - Intern
Renown Health is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Behavioral Health Clinical Intern to join our team. We are searching for a compassionate individual who is committed to helping others to achieve the highest quality of care.The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a passion for helping children and adults with their mental health. This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in psychology, social work, or related field, with 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.The primary responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Clinical Intern include providing mental health assessments, conducting individual and family therapy, and formulating individualized treatment plans. The intern will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest level of care.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate should also have a strong commitment to professional development and a dedication to helping those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health assessments, individual and family therapy, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest quality of care.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients.
- Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with latest clinical developments.
- Maintain accurate records of clients’ progress and treatments.
- Remain current in the research and literature related to the field of behavioral health.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to review cases and ensure quality of care.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
- Respect clients’ rights and confidentiality.
