Certified Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities of a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

1. Provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in accordance with Renown Health's standards and policies.
2. Maintain a valid and current Nevada CNA license.
3. Possess a minimum of one year of experience working as a CNA in a hospital setting.
4. Monitor and document patient vital signs.
5. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
6. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
7. Answer patient calls, assess patient needs, and respond accordingly.
8. Follow safety protocols to prevent patient falls and other injuries.
9. Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and organized.
10. Assist with patient mobility.
11. Administer medications and treatments as directed.
12. Report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
