Job Description

At Renown Health, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Patient Access Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and making a positive impact on our patients. The Patient Access Representative is an integral part of the healthcare team, ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible.The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a customer-service oriented mindset. They must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least one year of customer service experience. Furthermore, they must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with a sense of urgency. Previous healthcare experience is a plus.If you are a team player with a passion for healthcare and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and check in patients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  2. Verify patient information including insurance eligibility and coverage.
  3. Collect and accurately enter patient information into the system.
  4. Answer phone inquiries from patients and other healthcare providers in a timely manner.
  5. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
  6. Respond to patient complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Follow up with patients to ensure their satisfaction with the care they received.
  8. Assist the healthcare team with other administrative tasks as needed.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
