
Psychologist - Pediatrics
Renown Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist - Pediatrics to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to provide psychological services to pediatric patients and their families. As a Psychologist - Pediatrics, you will assess, diagnose, and treat children, adolescents, and their families to promote psychological and physical well-being. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or PsyD in psychology from an accredited university, be licensed to practice in Nevada, and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric psychology. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are also required for this position. Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat children, adolescents, and their families to promote psychological and physical well-being.
- Develop and maintain a treatment plan for patients based on their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Provide education and guidance to families and caregivers on how to best support their children’s mental and emotional health.
- Keep up-to-date on new developments in the field of pediatric psychology and related areas.
- Participate in clinical team meetings to stay informed of patient progress and provide feedback.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care for patients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help children and families.
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to ethical standards when working with patients.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
