- Design and curate lighting displays throughout the store to create an inviting and visually appealing atmosphere for customers.
- Utilize knowledge of lighting principles to assist customers in selecting the perfect lighting fixtures for their space.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new lighting products to ensure the store's lighting department remains current and competitive.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to effectively promote and sell lighting products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on the features and benefits of different lighting options.
- Maintain inventory and product displays, ensuring that all items are properly stocked and presented in an organized and attractive manner.
- Work with the store manager to create and implement strategies to increase lighting sales and meet sales targets.
- Assist in training new employees on lighting products and sales techniques.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Restoration Hardware and its values to customers and colleagues.
Extensive Knowledge Of Lighting Products: A Lighting Specialist Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Various Lighting Fixtures, Including Chandeliers, Lamps, Sconces, And Outdoor Lighting. This Includes Understanding Different Types Of Lighting, Such As Ambient, Task, And Accent Lighting, And Their Specific Functions.
Design And Sales Experience: A Lighting Specialist Should Have Experience In Both Design And Sales. They Should Be Able To Assist Customers In Choosing The Right Lighting Products That Fit Their Design Style And Budget. Additionally, They Should Have Experience In Creating Lighting Layouts And Providing Design Recommendations.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Lighting Specialist, You Will Be Working Closely With Customers To Understand Their Lighting Needs And Provide The Best Solutions.
