Cashier - Service Associate

Rite Aid is looking for an enthusiastic Cashier - Service Associate who can bring a positive attitude and exceptional customer service to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exemplary customer service. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Ability to lift up to 25lbs• Ability to use a computer and scan products• Cash handling experience is a plus

Responsibilities: • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude • Accurately process transactions using a Point of Sale system • Provide customers with product information and maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions • Assist customers with store inquiries and problem-solving • Count and balance cash register drawer at the end of shift • Maintain a neat and organized workspace • Follow all safety and security procedures • Address customer complaints in a timely and professional manner • Resolve customer disputes in a professional and respectful manner • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
