RN Immunizer

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Immunizer to join the team at Rite Aid. In this role, you’ll be responsible for administering immunizations to patients and providing education about vaccine safety to our customers. You’ll bring your enthusiasm for healthcare and your expertise to our organization, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our customers.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have a current RN license in your state, as well as at least one year of experience in providing immunizations. You should be knowledgeable about vaccine safety and protocol, and you should have excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care. You should also have strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer immunizations to patients according to established protocols and safety regulations.
2. Educate patients and customers about vaccine safety and provide up-to-date information on new immunization products.
3. Maintain records of immunizations administered, including patient histories and other related information.
4. Follow up with patients to ensure immunizations are effective and answer any questions they may have.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
7. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding immunizations.
8. Monitor inventory of immunizations and other medical supplies.
9. Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure quality care.
10. Monitor patient reactions and document any adverse events.
