RN Immunizer

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Immunizer to join the Rite Aid team! This is an excellent opportunity to impact the health and wellness of our community, providing immunizations to patients in our Rite Aid stores. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and compassionate professional with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.We require a current, valid RN license, at least one year of clinical experience, and basic knowledge of immunization administration. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient safety. The RN Immunizer will be responsible for providing immunization services to patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. This position will be based in the Rite Aid pharmacy and requires the ability to travel to multiple store locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer immunizations in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
2. Communicate with patients to provide education and understand individual needs.
3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of immunizations administered.
4. Monitor patients for reactions or side effects following immunization.
5. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare providers as needed.
6. Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety protocols.
7. Maintain current license and continuing education requirements.
8. Travel to multiple store locations as needed.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
10. Remain up to date on changes and advancements in immunization services and protocols.
